Message from the Headteacher - Vittoria Primary School
I am happy to introduce myself as the current Interim Headteacher at Vittoria Primary School.
My journey in the field of education began shortly after I completed my undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition at the University of Westminster. While working as a learning mentor for students with behavioural challenges, I had an epiphany that illuminated the transformative impact I could have as a classroom teacher.
In September 2014, I embarked on a journey of professional growth by enrolling in a Primary PGCE course. Since that pivotal moment, I have never wavered in my dedication to education. I've had the privilege of working across four diverse inner London boroughs, gaining invaluable experience in a wide range of educational settings.
My passion for leadership developed during my first leadership role where I was responsible for leading Maths. Since then, my career has been marked by a series of significant senior roles, including curriculum lead, Assistant Head, and Deputy Head.
As a lifelong learner, I remain committed to continuous self-improvement and personal growth. In the early stages of my leadership journey I undertook a Master's degree in Mathematics Education which I successfully completed. This achievement inspired me to embark on a Doctorate in Education, and I am currently in my final year of this endeavor.
Collaborating with the Islington Futures Federation is an extraordinary opportunity. It is an opportunity to ensure that every student at Vittoria Primary School attains the very best possible outcomes. Furthermore, it provides us, as dedicated educators, with a robust network for professional development and unwavering support
